In this song, the knights of Heliopolis are arriving in the Land-Between, being summoned by the Tarnished.
They will help the Tarnished in his quest while pursuing the Beast through the dimensions.

Beyond the void lies the Land between.
A world of magic inhabited by demi-gods.
Their queen Marika gave them eternal life.
But the death rune was stolen and her eldest son died.

And so the Elden circle was shattered.

Rather than help their mother restore the circle.
The demi-gods fought until the earth shook.
And none of them succeeded.
Tired of their indigence, the Greater will called for the tarnished.

One without splinters could take the Elden throne.

One of them passed the tests and defeated the demigods.
He called the knights of Heliopolis to fight against the Beast,
Hidden, and the outergods.
Rather than repeat the cycle and become the jailer of a world, he made a pact.
He married Ranni the witch and thus began the age of the stars.
The Beast escaped, the knights followed
